Megan Roy is a Los Angeles based digital illustrator who's work can be recognized by its playful spirit, loose line work, and unique use of color and texture.

What’s your Artist Statement?

Megan enjoys using a limited palette and exploring color and texture in her work. She is inspired, most notably, by the unwavering authenticity and earnest curiosity of a happy dog.

Why JIGGY?

It's simple really: Jiggy supports independent artists, so I'd like to support Jiggy and return the favor!

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

A lot of my work carries a playful spirit, so the idea that someone can actually sit and play with something I created is very exciting. It's like the artwork is fulfilling it's destiny!

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

Edges first, always! Then I'll struggle for a while, walk away after accomplishing nothing, and return to find that my husband has figured out half the puzzle in a matter of seconds.
