Studio Series: Meet Leah Nadeau

Meet Leah Nadeau.

Leah Nadeau is a Detroit-born artist now living in Seattle. She's known for her vibrant artworks that combine geometric abstraction, energetic color stories, loose brushstrokes, and clean linework.

What’s your Artist Statement?

I yearn to create work which beckons the viewer back time and time again. I want my paintings to reflect and inspire people to embrace their whole selves. My vivid color stories reflect the independence and vibrance of stories meant to be told paired with stillness and strength in shape and lines.

Why JIGGY?

I think puzzles with art by real, living artists is really awesome.

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

Having my work on functional art that's affordable for anyone to have is going to be great!

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

Harry Styles playing in the background with a shirley temple to drink! Makes for a fun night solving a puzzle.

If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be?!

Jessie Raulet of Etta Vee. I'm a big fan of her work and her as a person.

Who's your dream guest for a dinner & puzzle party?

Lady GaGa! I credit her for helping me come out of my shell in college and being myself even when it's scary.

Where can people find you?
