Meet Joy Ting.

Drawing has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. All through school, I found myself drawing and lettering for classmates and teachers. After a career in elementary education (nine splendid years of teaching art!) I now work as an artist and teach art to people of all ages . Throughout the day and in the wee hours of the morning (I'm a mom to two wonderful boys), you can find me drawing or painting to continue my daily practice.

What’s your Artist Statement?

My goal as an artist is teach others how to paint with joy.

Why JIGGY?

JIGGY is such a fun and exciting puzzle company! I also love the quality of their products.

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

I am excited to share my art in puzzle form for others to enjoy!

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

Puzzle time = family time in my home. I enlist the help of my boys and my husband and we work on puzzles together. It is such a great time to laugh and bond as a family. One of us starts on the edges, another will gather all the like colors, and we pick a place to start and just go for it!

If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be?!

I would love to collaborate with Matisse and VanGogh!
