Meet Charly Clements.

I'm Charly, a greeting card designer and freelance illustrator from the UK. 4 years ago I decided to sell all my belongings and travel around the world armed with only my iPad Pro. I now run my creative business full time from my laptop and iPad, working on projects that I love, collaborating with dream brands and licensing my work out to stores around the world.

What’s your Artist Statement?

My work mostly consists of powerful females, colourful florals and everyday objects. Heavily inspired by my travels, I love to explore bold shapes, colours and nature to create contemporary pieces that pop.

Why JIGGY?

I can see they put a lot of work into their brand, and into celebrating female artists, and I wanted to be a part of this.

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

I've been a huge fan of JIGGY for quite some time now and love what they stand for! I'm so excited to finally be part of the JIGGY family, and to see my artwork on puzzles is an absolute dream come true!

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

I'm definitely an edge first kinda girl! Wine always seems like a good idea at the time until I'm 4 hours in to my puzzle and realize I haven't made much progress at all.

If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be?!

I'd love to collaborate with Frida Kahlo! I've always found her and her work incredibly fascinating. There's something really special about how she was able to capture the essence of her subjects.

Who's your dream guest for a dinner & puzzle party?

David Attenborough. How amazing would that be?
