Studio Series: Meet Breanna Christie

Meet Breanna Christie.

Breanna Christie, the artist at Hey Bre! Creative Studio, is a digital hand letterer from Louisiana that loves creating inspiring graphics and lettering illustrations. Her goal is to help people recognize their worth, celebrate their individuality and own their magic through her artwork. When she's not drawing on her iPad, she's either online shopping, reading, or eating tacos and watching her favorite shows with her husband and dog.

Why JIGGY?

I think putting custom artwork on puzzles is amazing and gives people access to more than just "standard" puzzle images. I also love that this is a woman owned brand. GIRL POWER!

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

I am excited about creating bright and empowering artwork that can be put on puzzles to maybe help someone who isn't having the best day/week/month, whatever it may be. To just be able to put a smile on their face after completing a puzzle with my artwork on it means a lot.

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

My puzzle strategy starts with putting all the same colors together and then getting to work. I'm very intense and need to concentrate when I do puzzles. Then, when I'm done, I never want to take it apart. HA!

If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be?!

There are SO MANY amazing artists in the world past and present who work in different mediums, it's hard to choose. But I would definitely have to collab with Andy Warhol. My favorite period in art is Pop Art (I once did a whole 6 minute presentation about it, without notecards in college). I love everything about it and to be able to hang out at The Factory with Warhol and just make art would be a DREAM. Second would be Van Gogh, but I think I would just be too much in awe watching him work.

Who's your dream guest for a dinner & puzzle party?

Probably Robert Pattinson...definitely not because I'm obsessed with him or nothing like that....But also, I feel like he'd be fun to do a puzzle with, he seems very funny.

Where can people find you?
