Studio Series: Meet Anne Abueva

Meet Anne Abueva.

Anne's work is known for being expressive and bold with an emphasis on color and movement. Raw compositions painted with considered color palettes demonstrate a marriage of her backgrounds in intuitive creativity and interior design.

What’s your Artist Statement?

Play, work, experimentation, editing, and intuition each have a significant role in my studio practice. I explore lasting memories, first impressions and saturated emotions as subject matter and hope to spark connection with the viewer through those common threads of human experience.

Why JIGGY?

Infusing play into work, home, family and friends is always a good thing.

What are you most excited about in becoming a JIGGY Studio artist?

Seeing the puzzles come to life and the people who love to click those pieces into place.

What’s your puzzle strategy and ritual?

Chihuahua in lap, gather the nieces and nephews, edges first!

Where can people find you?
