What I Was Made For by Leah Nadeau

Leah Nadeau is an abstract artist who turns memories, music, and color into places that exist somewhere between real and imagined. Inspired by chromesthesia—the experience of seeing music as color—her acrylic paintings are filled with bold hues, playful patterns, and forms that feel familiar without belonging to any one place.
Growing up near Detroit, Leah found inspiration in everything from the glow of taillights to the architecture of Prague, while her background in film taught her to see the world through composition, color, and story.
Now based near Portland, Oregon, Leah paints with her partner, Ollie, and her very loyal sidekick, Gus, always leaving a little room for viewers to find their own stories in her work.
