About the Artist
Born and raised in Hong Kong, LMU alumna Jane Tse ’23, M.A. ’26, studied studio arts and Asian and Pacific Studies as an undergraduate, and is now pursuing her master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy with a specialization in art therapy. Her work blends bold color with hand-crafted texture to capture the beauty of everyday spaces.
Sacred Heart Chapel holds special meaning for Jane, from daily walks past its doors to first-year coffee dates on Regents Terrace overlooking its spire. Those moments of connection inspired this artwork: a piece that feels timeless and instantly recognizable to students, alumni, and friends alike.
