I’m from Southern California where I grew up in a rural paradise of mountains, desert and the ocean all around me. Before making art full time, I taught art to my high school and college students. Then I worked my way into graphic design and publication. After learning surface design and illustration, I found my true passion. Like the great surface designer William Morris, I love to see my work on store shelves heading to people’s homes to enjoy or gift to others. Morris believed that art shouldn’t be reserved for the wealthy and privileged. Art is for everyone.
